Possible to wire 18 zones to Rachio 3 16-zone? I’d prefer not to buy an 8-zone to handle the extra 2 zones. Assuming sufficient water can be provided at same time to the zone handling two valves/wires, will this work? Are there any issues of which I need to be aware? Thanks.

@twander - it is possible, as the Rachio can power up to three valves (master and two stations) at one time.
The caveats are enough water pressure to supply the two zones that would be running at the same time (twice, for an actual total of four zones today) and that the combined zones would need to be watered for the zone with the most water need - which means the other half would be over-watered.
